It is a first degree misdemeanor for someone to care for children under 13 years old from more than one household away from the child’s own home, without being licensed.
Public Notice 2026 PCLB Board Meeting Schedule

Pinellas County Licensing Board announces the following public meetings to which all interested parties are welcome to attend.
All meeting, unless otherwise noted, are held at the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County’s Mid-County location.
Upcoming Meetings
- Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
In accordance with the Florida Government in the Sunshine, all board meetings of the Pinellas County Licensing Board will be public noticed pursuant to the public’s right to comment. Those in attendance who wish to address the Board must submit a public comment card to the recorder prior to the agenda item segment of the meeting.
