VISIT A FARMERS MARKET FOR FRESH FOODS AND MORE—WITH HELP FROM DOH-PINELLAS

January 28, 2022

During fall and winter months, outdoor markets offering fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared food and crafts pop up around Pinellas. Farmers markets combine healthy shopping with a fun outdoor experience.

The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) has a newly revised list of these seasonal farmers markets to help you find the closest one or to plan a trip farther from home. The flyer lists the markets with their locations, hours and months of operation.

The guide was a project of the DOH-Pinellas Employee Wellness Team, a quality improvement task force that focuses on building a healthier workforce.

The revised brochure can be found at https://pinellas.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/wellness-programs/health-promo-school-health/_documents/pinellas-county-farmers-market-guide.pdf
