ADDITIONAL PINELLAS COVID-19 SITE PROVIDES NO-COST, NO-APPOINTMENT TESTING

By Maggie Hall, PIO

September 20, 2021

To make COVID-19 testing more accessible to the community, an additional no-cost, no-appointment site will open on Saturday, Sept. 18.

The Mid-County testing site will be located at 7150 114th Ave., Largo, north of Bryan Dairy Rd. and east of Belcher Rd.

It joins the Center for Health Equity, 2333 34th St. S., St. Petersburg, as another test site option for residents in mid and north Pinellas.

The Mid-County testing site will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. without an appointment. Although testing is at no cost, bring insurance information. Both sites are operated by CDR Maguire.

The Center for Health Equity is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday. That site is closed on Sundays.

For information about CDR Maguire test sites, call (800) 232-0233.

There are also CVS, Walgreens and urgent care clinics providing testing in Pinellas. They are listed on the Pinellas County site here https://covid19.pinellascounty.org/testing/ for easy reference.

DOH-Pinellas continues to encourage everyone who has not received a COVID-19 vaccination to get protected as soon as possible. Vaccination remains the most effective defense against COVID-19.

Vaccines are provided at no cost in many places in Pinellas without an appointment or a wait.

To find all locations where vaccines are provided near you, go to www.vaccines.gov.
