Community Programs
Whether you need to properly dispose of biomedical waste or you've seen a unsanitary condition that causes you to be concerned, the Environmental Health Division at DOH-Pinellas works hard to ensure that our community is safe and free of risks to your health.
Our Community Programs include the following:
- Biomedical Waste Disposal - the poper disposal of medical waste is essential to a communities health.
- Needle/Sharps Disposal - needles and sharps can't just get thrown out with the trash, we ensure the proper disposal and keep you safe.
- Indoor Air Quality - just as important as clean water, is clean air. We monitor the air to protect your health.
- Sanitary Nuisance - when there is something that by its very presence can cause a health risk to visitors or residents, we need to know.
