The following reports contain information that our office uses to plan local public health efforts. We also provide informational brochures, newsletters, and other important information to give an overview of the services we provide.


Community Health Assessments

Compilation of community data designed to measure the health of residents while identifying critical needs and disparities. 


Community Health Improvement Plan 

The CHIP is a long-term plan that provides a link between assessment and action, defining how DOH-Pinellas and partnering community stakeholders will address the public health concerns within Pinellas County.

Although a variety of tools and processes may be used to implement a CHIP, the essential ingredients are community engagement and collaborative participation.


DOH-Pinellas Strategic Plan

Our office uses a strategic plan to define the direction of DOH-Pinellas for the next three years. The plan will position DOH-Pinellas to operate as a sustainable integrated public health system that provides customers with quality public health services.

The strategic plan is a living document that DOH-Pinellas will evaluate and update annually to address new challenges in a changing public health environment.

Our annual reports summarize the activities of DOH-Pinellas throughout each fiscal year, providing information about the agency while spotlighting the services provided during that timeframe.
