Helping First Time Parents Succeed©
Nurse-Family Partnership is an evidenced-based home visiting program funded by the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County intended to promote the well-being of first-time, low-income mothers and their children. Registered Nurses provide parenting education, referrals to community resources and promote family enrichment.
The program is available to residents of Pinellas County beginning in pregnancy prior to 28 weeks gestation through the child’s second birthday. Visits are made every two to four weeks.
Goals for the program include improving pregnancy outcomes, child health and development and family economic self-sufficiency.
