Pinellas County Records First COVID-19 Death
March 24, 2020
On 3/23/20, a 67-year-old Pinellas resident diagnosed with COVID-19 passed away. This is the first COVID-19 death in our county.
We are expressing our condolences to the persons family and we will continue to work with DOH and our community partners to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Positive cases and fatalities are reported by DOH twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., on the DOH Dashboard. Please visit the Florida Department of Healths COVID-19 site at:
