Internship Opportunities

We believe that mentoring is essential for cultivating the next generation of public health professionals.

Our internship program is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience, foster professional growth, and enhance understanding of public health practices. We value the opportunity to guide and support college students as they develop critical skills and knowledge in a dynamic field.

To apply for an internship, please complete the Intern Placement Request Form. After submitting your application, you can expect a response within 48-72 hours.

The internship program is only for students who have a course requirement to fulfill for a college course. If you are looking to complete volunteer hours or you would like to volunteer your time, you can find more information about our Volunteer Program and opportunities.

Students, if you need resources for homework, please send your requests for help to CHD52Student@flhealth.gov. Homework help requests may require a minimum of 10 business days for a response. We'll assist whenever possible and inform you if we’re unable to accommodate your request.
