Every child deserves a safe, nurturing place to call home. To draw attention to this need, April has been designated National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Through programs such as the Healthy Babies Initiative and our Healthy Start/Healthy Families program, we are coordinating with local and statewide partner agencies to improve the health and well-being of all Floridians, especially the youngest ones.

If you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected, please call the Florida Child Abuse Hotline at 800-96-ABUSE (800-962-2873).
