By Maggie Hall, PIO - Contact Number: 727-824-6908

December 09, 2015

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO SURVEY HOMELESS IN JANUARY 2016

On any given night, there are more than 6,800 homeless children, families and adults in Pinellas County. To ensure funding for critical services, collecting data on this population is required.

On Thursday, Jan. 28, volunteers are needed to help the Pinellas County Homeless Leadership Board conduct a one-day Point in Time count and survey of the homeless population in the county

Volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory training session which will be offered several times prior to the Jan. 28 count. To register or for more information on the Point in Time project, go to www.PinellasHomeless.org.
