The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) center at 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg, will undergo chemical tenting during the Thanksgiving holiday, which will affect some services before and after the holiday closures.

Tenting operations at the center begin the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 23, and will continue on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24-25, when all DOH-Pinellas locations will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

All DOH-Pinellas centers will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28, but some services such as immunizations will be affected in St. Petersburg that day. To make sure that the services you’re seeking at the St. Petersburg center on Nov. 28 are available, call (727) 824-6900 before traveling to the center.
