The Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) is providing no-cost vaccines and more at the Health Department office in Tarpon Springs from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 27.

Adults can receive hepatitis A vaccines at no cost at the DOH-Pinellas office located at 301 S. Disston Ave. in Tarpon Springs. For information about the event, call (727) 824-6932.

The term “hepatitis” means an inflammation of the liver. Hepatitis A is a very contagious liver infection that’s usually spread when someone comes in contact with the feces of an infected person.
