New Fax Line to Report Diseases in Pinellas

The Disease Control division of the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) has a new reportable disease fax line for physicians and health-care facilities.

All reportable disease records, excluding HIV/AIDS, can be faxed to (727) 484-3865. For a list of reportable diseases, go to http://pinellas.floridahealth.gov/programs-and-services/infectious-disease-services/epidemiology/_documents/epidelist.pdf.

Reports of HIV/AIDS can be mailed to Surveillance Room 3-138 at DOH-Pinellas, 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33701.

To report a disease/condition or outbreak by phone, DOH-Pinellas, Disease Control Division can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at (727) 824-6932.
