NO-COST FLU AND HEPATITIS A EVENT
January 26, 2019 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM |
Event Location
Clearwater Free Clinic
1218 Court St
Clearwater, FL 33756
Due to a recent increase in flu activity and hepatitis A cases in Tampa Bay, the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) is hosting a clinic to provide free flu shots and hepatitis A vaccines from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 26, at the Clearwater Free Clinic located at 1218 Court St.
The clinic allows those who work during the week a convenient opportunity to walk-in and get vaccinated at no cost. DOH-Pinellas staff and volunteers will provide the vaccines to adults and children older than 3 while supplies last. Those who receive a vaccine at the event will be entered in a raffle drawing to win a gift card.
DOH-Pinellas encourages anyone who has not been vaccinated against flu or hepatitis A, or those who do not know their vaccination status, to attend the no-cost event and get protected.
Flu and hepatitis A can cause serious illnesses and in some cases, death. Maintaining good health habits, washing your hands with soap and water and getting vaccinated are the best ways to prevent illness and protect those around you.
