The regional Hazards and Healthcare conference on March 14 will focus on enhancing emergency preparedness skills for the upcoming hurricane season. Nurses, therapists, social workers, nursing home executives and dietitians are among the health professionals eligible to earn continuing education unit (CEU) hours for attending the conference. The $119 registration fee is valid until spaces are filled. A continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments are included in the price.
